A loan helped to buy mid-size pigs and feed to nourish them.

Pascal's story

Pascal is a 42-year-old man. He is in a relationship and has three children from this partnership. He lives in a rural village where the family owns a permanent house. He works in agriculture and livestock raising. This is the family's primary revenue. He has been involved in pig farming for over twenty years. He is a partner with Vahatra.

He is taking out a loan to develop his livestock raising business. He hopes to increase the number of pigs he raises. He wishes to improve the living conditions of his family. He is consequently asking for the support of lenders to buy mid-size pigs and the feed to nourish them. He will fatten them then resell them at the local market. He will buy more after. He plans to refurbish his house with his profits.
