A loan of $1,000 helped purchase of charcoal and corn.

Wadakiétou's story

Mrs. K. is a married mother of two who sells charcoal for a living. She has sold charcoal since 2000, and later on she began selling corn. She sells these items in front of her house and the majority of her customers are from her neighborhood. She is requesting her first loan through WAGES so she can increase her stock with the purchase of 30 sacks of charcoal and 15 sacks of corn. She buys her stock in the inland locality of Wahala.
