A loan helped to buy more goods to sell at her store.

Joana's story

Joana is a 43-year-old, modest and hardworking woman with a very good understanding and lots of experience in the general store business. She's run one of her own more than a year.

Her store is in a very good location where many people come to buy goods daily. Running the store has made Joana independent because she can be responsible for herself and also help support her family's income. She's previously borrowed and repaid all of her loans on time and now would like a loan of $700 from KIF to help improve her store.

She plans to use this loan to buy additional goods to stock her store in order to gain more customers. As a result of this investment, Joana hopes to run a bigger business. She thanks lenders for the opportunity.

This loan is special because:

It provides entrepreneurs in underserved communities with the means to grow their businesses.
