Mrs. Chy H., age 50, works with her husband on their farmland to grow and sell rice, crops, beans, and vegetables, earning about $2 each day. They have seven children: some who are farmers and some who are students. She would like to request a loan of $1200 in order to purchase rice, seeds, beans, and fertilizer to expand their crops yields and therefore increase their revenue. They plan to use the resulting income to reinvest in their farm and help finance their children’s education.
