A loan of $3,025 helped a member purchase more merchandise.

Las Indecisas Group's story

Doña Graciela sells shoes by order, but the remaining group members have other business activities. Some have grocery stores, while others sell beauty products, clothing, and Tupperware in order to earn more income. The members of this group call themselves “Las Indecisas” (The Undecided). Graciela is a woman who is determined to get ahead with her young daughter. She sells shoes through a catalog since it is the only way for her to provide the best for her daughter as well as generate extra income. At the moment she lives with her parents, but she wants to be independent for her own sake and that of her daughter. Now she needs to grow her business, so she is requesting 5000 MXN so that she can place a larger order and have more merchandise to show to her customers. This will help her increase her sales and attract more customers. Graciela began selling shoes because it provided her with a good business. However, she has not had the opportunity to invest in her business due to insufficient capital. Now with this loan she will be able to generate more sales. Graciela is always aware of the needs of her business and does not want to disappoint anyone. Since she has been provided with the chance to invest, she hopes to keep part of her earnings. “This loan has provided me with more motivation in my work because I will be able to invest in the purchase of more shoes and earn more income,” says Doña Graciela. She is a single mother who does everything she can for her young daughter. Graciela needs to provide her with a stable financial future so that she lacks nothing. Her only intention is to set aside some savings for her daughter’s education since she is about to start school.
