A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during COVID-19.

Atikah's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Atikah. She is forty-four years old and married with one son and three daughters. Atikah is a laborer and her husband is a farmer. One of Atikah's children is still in school. Therefore, one impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on her family is the implementation of homeschooling that uses an online system. This has made it difficult for Atikah's child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

Atikah has applied for a loan of 1,900,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during COVID-19. Atikah's income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Atikah is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children while improving living conditions and creating a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.

Note: The girl in the photo is Atikah's daughter.
