This Kiva borrower is a 37-year old single woman living with her parents in Lebanon. She has 15 years of experience working as a farmer. She has been running her own farm since 2001. She uses plastic tents to grow her products. These tents also allow her to better monitor product quality as well as grow her products for more months during the year. She cultivates all type of vegetables and fruits all through the year. She works independently in her business. Today, she is requesting a loan of $1000 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l. to purchase needed supplies for her agricultural work and seeds for the next cultivation. She estimates that the loan will help her increase her profits by 20%.
