San Juan Group's story

The group named San Juan was formed by joining neighbors from the city of Caaguazú who are looking for a way to be able to improve their quality of living and that of their loved ones. They are in their 5th loan cycle with the Women's Committee program where they all look for a way to better themselves and get ahead. They are also participating in the Poverty Elimination program.

One member is Maria. She is married and is the mother of two children. She mentions that together with her husband they help each other to provide the best for their loved ones so they don't go without. She earns a living in sales. She has a small store where she works every day from early in the morning.

Her goal is to continue to invest in her business in order to improve it and in this manner be able to continue to help with the household expenses.

She is requesting this loan to buy various products to sell like vegetables, meat, baked goods, fruit, canned goods and other products.
