A loan of $950 helped buy a calf to raise.

Jaime Antonio's story

Jaime lives in the Buena Vista de Nueva Guinea region. He lives with his family, which is comprised of his wife and children. The oldest child is 13 years old, and the youngest is ten years old. Jaime works with livestock and does agricultural work on a farm. These are his main sources of income. He works together with his family doing these activities.

He currently needs a loan to buy a calf to raise. That way he will increase his livestock inventory. In a year’s time he will be able to sell the animal by weight. This will generate greater income and improve the household’s financial situation.

In his community he is considered to be a progressive, hard-working, and responsible man. He hopes to be granted the loan to be able to make his dream come true. He wants to improve his finances, which will allow him to give his family better living conditions.
