A loan helped to maintain about five acres of coffee crops in the production process.

Socorro's story

Socorro is a single 70-year-old woman. Despite her age, she has approximately five acres of coffee plants in the production process. Her income from these crops goes toward her household expenses as well as investments in new coffee plants.

Her children are adults, and they help her with the farm labor. Socorro is seeking this loan in order to purchase fertilizer and other inputs.

Her desire is to obtain good returns on her investment and, as a result, earn a higher income in order to support herself financially.
