Pablo Heriberto's story

Pablo Heriberto R. is 39 years old. He resides in the beautiful village of Alegría, in the department of Usulután, with his life partner, who helps Pablo with the business. He has a sales stand where he sells traditional foods such as pupusas [filled tortillas], empanadas, pastelitos [stuffed pastries], fried yuca, and much more. The food is prepared by his wife and sold from their house. Each evening, they set out a table with all of the snacks, so that people living nearby or passing through can buy the food. Pablo is in charge of selling the products and handling the money, and in this way they work together to get the most out of their business. For the past 2 years, this work has allowed them to support themselves with all that is necessary and essential in their daily lives. Pablo is requesting a loan with the strong desire to purchase a larger quantity of ingredients and supplies (such as corn, vegetables, beans, rice, vinegar, among others) in order to prepare a greater amount of food and thus increase his sales.
