A loan of $1,000 helped working capital for purchasing more eyewear.

Luz Ayde's story

Luz Aide belongs to the “REAL” communal bank. She lives in the district of Santiago in the province and department of Cusco.

Luz is 41 years old and is a single mother with 3 children. She alternates her household activities with retail. She makes a living selling eyewear and other services in her store, which is located in the center of the city. She has had this business for 11 years. Luz acts as both father and mother to her children and helps them with everything. She says that she has been very lucky with her business and it is going well. It means that she doesn’t have to ask for help from anyone, since the man who was her husband and father of her children left several years ago. Luz is asking for a loan so that she can have a little working capital, which she will use to purchase more eyewear.

Luz values and appreciates the loan that is being offered, since it will allow her to grow her business and improve her quality of life. She promises to complete her payments according to the terms of the loan.
