A loan helped to buy one bundle of sheets and one bundle of napkins.

Akou Confort's story

Confort is a 56-year-old married woman. She is in the business of selling second-hand linen. She orders her goods from the second-hand market in the capital and then resells them.

Confort would like to expand her business by applying for a loan so she can stock up on sheets and napkins of various qualities. She wants to serve her customers' needs and increase her profits so that she can get out of her situation of vulnerability.

Translated from French by Kiva volunteer JOHN LONSDALE.

This loan is special because:

It helps vulnerable populations in Togo access credit and grow their businesses.
