The solidarity group CHEIKH MAKHTAR came into being in December 2009. It is made up of 15 women who all come from the same neighborhood. They are bound together by ties of affection or they are related to each other. The group is a part of the "Banc Villageois" of DVF GUEOUL.

Mrs. Aminata N., standing in the second row in the photo, is the group leader. She is 34, married, and the mother of six children. She is also responsible for two other children who were confided to her care by relatives.

She sells beaded necklaces, belts, and incense. She stocks up on merchandise in Touba and in Dakar and sells her goods in her neighborhood at weekly markets. With her loan, she is going to expand her stock of beads, belts and incense. Her goal is to help support her family and be responsible for her own personal needs.

Le groupe de solidarité CHEIKH MAKHTAR a vu le jour en décembre 2009. Il est composé de 15 femmes issues du même quartier. Elles liées par des liens affectifs, de parenté et de confrérie. Le groupe fait partie du Banc Villageois de DVF GUEOUL

Madame Aminata N. debout au second rang sur la photo est responsable du groupe. Elle est âgée de 34 ans. Elle est mariée et mère de 6 enfants. Elle a aussi la charge de 2 autres enfants confiés par des proches.

Elle fait un petit commerce de colliers en perle, de ceinture et d’encens. Elle s’approvisionne en marchandises à Touba et à Dakar pour revendre dans son quartier lors des marchés hebdomadaires.

Ave son crédit elle va renforcer sa marchandise en perle, en ceinture et en encens.

Son objectif est de participer à la prise en charge de la famille et de subvenir à ses besoins personnels
