The AND LIGG. solidarity group was born on the day of the Founding General Meeting of the SANTHIABA COKI1 “Banc Village” in December 2009. It brings together 11 women who live in the same neighborhood. They are linked to each other by solidarity and neighborhood ties.

Mrs. Mariama N. on the right hand side of the photo is 38 years old. She is married and has no children but has adopted two.

Her business consists in selling Basin and Khartoum fabrics. She has been running this business for years. In addition, she is learning gradually the skills of cutting and sewing.

Her loan will enable her to purchase a large amount of fabric in order to meet her customers' needs and make more profits.

With this loan, she aims to increase her income, help her husband cover food and healthcare needs as well as the children's tuition fees.
