A loan helped make pot pies great again.

Sasha's story

Sasha started Aunt Ethel's Pot Pies as a way to continue her aunt's legacy
and hard work. Early last year, Sasha and her aunt decided to take one of
Aunt Ethel's most popular dishes; the chicken pot pie and get it out to the
masses. So, they got to work by doing R&D for a few months in order to
understand the competition and how they could differentiate themselves.
They finally came up with the perfect product that gave the customer a
flaky/crispy crust and a hot piping filling that could be prepared in 5
minutes and taste like it had been baking in your kitchen all day; just as
pot pies were intended. Sasha's background in Finance and Angel Investing
and her aunt's background in cooking and customer care made them a perfect
combo to launch a company that will hopefully one day become a household

This loan is special because:

It supports a business that is focused on hiring local employees and supporting minority women.
