A loan helped to purchase of dresses, pajamas, skirts, shirts, blouses, pants, among other items.

Maria Celmira's story

Maria, 62, is married with two adult children. Her husband is retired, and they live in Manta, a beautiful place where the residents are very humble and hardworking.

Maria is an enterprising woman who strives daily to pay the household expenses. For this reason, ten years ago, she started a business selling children’s and adults’ clothing. She conducts her sales as a street vendor, however, she is currently doing so from her home. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, her sales have drastically diminished, and for this reason, she is requesting a new loan to re-activate her business.

She will invest this loan in the purchase of dresses, pajamas, skirts, shirts, blouses, pants, among other items. Her dream is for her business to thrive again.
