Came-Pang's story

Came-pang is a married local woman living with her husband and children in a Kui community in Surin Province in Northeast Thailand. Normally, her family owns a cattle farm, and they have run the business to make a living.

She was inspired and learn to operate the cattle farm from her ancestors and a local government organization. Came-pang has operated a cattle farm to generate income for many years. Then she wanted to expand the farm and raised more cattle in order to meet the market needs and increase her family income. Therefore, she sought a loan to improve the business by applying for the Kiva loan to buy buffalo breeds for raising and selling.

The loan will encourage her to be able to afford buffalo breeds, as well as support her as a local woman entrepreneur. In the future, she plans to expand the number of cattle and desires to see her family have a better living standard.
