Utulivu Group's story

Mme Solange is a client of Hekima IMF and presides over the "Utulivu" village group; she is married, 38 years old, and mother to four children, three of whom attend school and one who is still too young. Her partner is a carpenter.
She is a food seller, she started this business in 2011 with her own money. Later she got involved with the Hekima program to support her business, over the course of which she evolved progressively. With this new loan, she will buy corn, cassava, rice, and sugar, which will reinforce her initial capital. The challenge of her work is related to poor quality merchandise.
She would like for her children to continue to study, and to build a house. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and their partners for their support for business owners without traditional banking access in the context of the global crisis linked to Covid-19. The picture is only of the leader of the group due to Covid-19, respecting social distancing measures.
