A loan helped a member to purchase materials to make cakes and also to purchase ice cream.

San Rafael Group's story

There are 19 women who make up this committee. They established as a goal to be able to grow, not only economically, but also as people. They are also in the poverty elimination program to be able to improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones.

One of the members is Lourdes, who works making and selling cakes and also ice cream. She says that she has a modest business where she offers her customers delicious products and it is thanks to this that she already has an established customer base now who always purchase from her.

She is grateful for the opportunity she is receiving to be part of the group, which will be of great help to her and will allow her to be able to help sustain her household and her family.

She asks for this loan to purchase materials to make cakes and also to purchase a variety of ice cream flavors to sell.

Note: There is only one person in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
