A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during Covid-19.

Leli S's story

Good day, lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Leli S. She is 37 years old and married with one daughter. Leli S runs a business selling clothes and her husband is an employee. Her child is in school.

An impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family has been the implementation of schooling from home, which uses an online system. This has made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 2,200,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during Covid-19. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Leli S is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her child, to improve her family's living conditions and create a happy life for them. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.
