A loan of $450 helped buy feed for raising sheep.

Francisco's story

Francisco is 42 years old, married and has three children. He lives in the hamblt of Guaraguaos in Tambogrande district. This is an agricultural district devoted almost exclusively to cultivating fruit which is processed and exported to other countries. The zone is located in Piura province, in the region with the same name, located more than three hours from the city of Chiclayo, capital of the Lambayeque region.

He raises and sells small livestock, generally raising sheep in a pen near his house. When they have reached a good level of development he offers them for sale to dealers who frequent the area where he lives and sometimes also sells to his neighbors. In addition, he does agricultural work to supplement the income he needs to support his family.

Francisco would like to improve his sheep-raising so he can get more income when he sells them. For this reason he has requested, for the first time, a loan for 1200 new soles from Edpyme Alternativa, which he will invest in the purchase of balanced food.

Francisco is a hard worker and very dedicated to his family. In his zone his neighbors and acquaintances see him as someone honest and reliable.
