A loan of $1,000 helped buy shoes to sell.

William Alonso's story

William Alonso M. O., age 32, lives with his small family. His family is comprised of his wife, who devotes herself to the household chores, and their one year old son. They live in Cojutepeque. William works selling shoes, sandals, and tennis shoes for men, women, and children. He is a very responsible man, and he is a good provider for his household. Above everything else he wishes to get his family ahead and give them a better life. His business is located on the main street in Sensuntepeque in the Cuscatlán department. This is a very propitious location for his sales. It is a pretty congested area where a lot of people on foot pass by as well as cars and public transportation. That is why he maintains steady sales. That motivates him to invest in his business. That is why William is requesting a loan to be able to buy a larger quantity of shoes. That way he will increase his variety of sizes, colors, and sizes. This will allow him to offer his customers much better quality, and it will also increase his income.
