A loan of $850 helped purchase of medical instruments.

Romulo Alvaro's story

Romulo Alvaro V. P. is a young single man who lives in Cochabama in the section known as Las Cuadras. With medical studies barely completed, Romulo joined the Ministry of Health and Sports, working as a resident in the Aguirre II Community, located some kilometers from Sacaba. Romulo has worked in the Ministry of Health and Sports for approximately 4 years. The market is wide open, since the lack of doctors in the various provinces of our country is a major problem. Thanks to people such as Romulo, the poor in Bolivia’s most remote areas can have access to medical care.

Romulo needs a loan to buy medical instruments in order to offer better service to the people in the community where he works, and thus be a better physician. His greatest dream is to some day have sufficient funds to open a clinic and help those who have little.
