A loan of $2,000 helped to increase his shop inventory.

Anonymous's story

This Kiva borrower is a 55-year-old married man from Lebanon with four children. He has owned a mini-market in his village for the past 12 years. He sells in his grocery shop all types of food products, dairy products, juices, soft drinks, beads etc. His shop is situated in a busy area so there are a good number of customers passing by his shop. This is his second loan requested from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l. He has been very reliable with his repayments. He is requesting a larger loan amount of $2,000 to increase his shop inventory to be prepared for the coming holidays in Lebanon where the selling rate will be increased. He’s very optimist about the results.
