Las Amigas Group's story

This committee is named Las Amigas. It is in its sixth cycle of the women’s committee program, where all are fighting for a better quality of life for their families by means of the united work of all. In addition, they are within the program for the elimination of poverty.

One of these is Paulina, who is married and the mother of a family. She mentions that she makes a living from selling fruit and that she has a fixed clientele who always buy from her and it is going very well for her. She is a hard-working, persistent, and enterprising person who does not allow herself to be defeated. She is also searching for the way to continue growing and with this be able to help support her family.

She is requesting this loan to purchase fresh fruit to sell, such as oranges, mandarins, grapefruit, apples, and bananas, among others.

Note: In the photo, only one person appears, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo in order to avoid crowding people due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
