A loan helped ana to improve the wet processing equipment for her coffee.

Ana Julia's story

Ana is a small coffee grower. See lives in a remote community in central Nicaragua. Her small farm is 26.6 hectares. She runs it with her husband's help and has Fairtrade certifications. On her farm, she provides 35 seasonal and 2 permanent jobs.

This year, Ana has decided to repair her wet processing equipment, which is the productive infrastructure for the final quality of the bean she produces. She is at one of the biggest risks of quality loss. She will buy construction materials, which she will use to make the proposed repairs.

This is the first loan she has taken out from PAC.
