A loan of $1,075 helped buy construction materials.

Michael's story

Michael, age 25, lives with his life partner and their daughter in the city of Santa Rosa. It is located in the beautiful Ayacuchan jungle, where he has an adobe house.

Life for Michael was difficult, and it was much more difficult when he graduated from the university as a mining engineer. He was unable to find steady work, and he made due with small seasonal jobs. It stayed that way for several years until he had the opportunity to work as a building contractor for homes and buildings.

He now provides diverse services for public and private entities. Therefore, it is going very well for him. Also, he has a group of workmen for whatever work that presents itself. Now his financial situation has improved. He does his work locally.

His plan for the future is to have his own construction company. The reason for this is to be able to improve his finances and his quality of life.

This is his fifth loan with MFP. He pledges to continue making his payments on time. Also, he is pleased with his communal bank because everyone helps each other.

He will use the requested loan to buy construction materials like surveying equipment, pickaxes, shovels, and nail pullers. He will do that to minimize time and cost.
