A loan helped to increase production and income through sales of coffee.

Jose Hilario's story

Jose is a small coffee grower in northern Nicaragua. He has been making a living growing coffee for more than 6 years. He runs his 1.4 hectare farm of coffee plants in accordance with the criteria for FLO certification. He lives on his farm with his wife and 4 children. He is applying for a loan to buy agricultural supplies to improve the nutrition of his coffee plants. Up to now his primary issues have been diseases that attack his coffee crops. However he is confident that with the application of products and the implementation of the recommendations made by technical team that supports him, he will get ahead and have better harvest this season. The money will be used to buy supplies such as: calcium, zinc, borax and other items.
This is his first loan application through PAC.
