A loan of $3,625 helps a member to pay for peanut seeds and fertilizer.

05-Adam Group's story

Created this year during the month of April, this group of women living in the same town is woven together by excellent ties of friendship and solidarity. The women’s main work is in farming.

Adam, the group's representative, is 52 years old, married, and the mother of six children, including five sons. She intends to be active in farming.

With this new loan, she is going to buy seeds and fertilizer for growing peanuts. After the harvest, she will sell her produce at the local market at good prices in the hopes of obtaining better revenues. The earnings will enable her to develop a small-scale business selling vegetables and to cover day-to-day expenses.

In this group: Adam, Amine, Rokhy, Yama, Fatou, Rokhy, Ramatou, Yama, Adame, Yama
