A loan helped a member to buy winter clothes in bulk to resell in her community.

Caaguazu Poty Group's story

Since the last loan cycle, Natalia has diversified her clothing stock and is now offering work blouses for women and shirts for men. Thanks to the increase in business, she was also able to improve and add to her home. Natalia is also grateful for the support she has found through her group loan. "Thanks to the group loans, we have learned solidarity and that unity makes us strong," she commented about the women in her group. Natalia keeps working towards her dream of having her own clothing store and is thankful for the savings habit she has learned through Microfinance that will help her achieve her dreams.

Others in Natalia's group sell fast foods or sell homemade cleaning products. Due to strict social gathering restrictions in Paraguay caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Natalia's group cannot meet regularly so she is the only one who appears in their group profile photo.
