A loan of $2,775 helps a member to buy second-hand shoes, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Source De Vie 2 Group's story

Mrs. Esperance is a client of Hekima MFI and president of the village group "SOURCE DE VIE 2". She is married, 57 years old and mother of 10 children, 4 of whom are in school, 6 of whom are already independent. Her partner is a public worker.

She sells second hand shoes. She started this business 25 years ago with the start up funds received from her husband. Later, she involved the Hekima program to support her business, during which she gradually evolved. With this new loan, she will buy second-hand shoes, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is the lack of customers.

She would like her children to continue studying and to provide for her family.

Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support provided to owners of non-bankable businesses in this context of the global covid-19 crisis. The photo only shows the leader of the group due to Covid-19, in compliance with social distancing measures.

In this group: Bijoux, Esperance, Rachel, Francine, Mwamini, Monique, Miriam, Hortence, Hygette, Pinon, Bisere, Nicole, Christine, Nathalie
