Nong's story

Nong is a married woman. She lives with her husband and son in a Khmer community of Buriram province in the northeastern region of Thailand. Generally, Nong's family makes a living by growing jasmine rice and raising native chickens.

During this period, Nong sought a loan to invest in a native chicken farm. Therefore, she has applied for a Kiva loan to buy more native chickens, feed, and chicken vaccines for use on her farm. Nong's farm is capable of generating sufficient income to spend on her family.
