A loan helped a member to pay for vegetables.

02_Temento Group's story

Created in August 2008, this group is composed of women with a lot of solidarity who are energetic and active mainly in commerce and in livestock farming.

In the photo, FATOUMATA, aged 40, is a married woman who has no children. She is the group's representative and has been active in commerce for years with a good mastery of the sector. She goes to a weekly market to purchase her merchandise in order to resell in her town.

With her new loan, she plans to purchase some vegetables (carrots and potatoes) wholesale to sell retail at a good margin. The earnings will be put toward savings within the 'banc villageois' and will be used to help out her husband in covering day-to-day expenses.

In this group: Macouta , Fatoumata Binta, Fatoumata , Sona, Ansatou , Housseynatou , Djina, Dalanda, Seynabou , Feinda, Dienabou , Feinda, Fatou , Aissatou , Adama, Hawa, Kadiatou, Kadiatou , Aminata, Yoba, Awa, Diabou, Mariama, Balaba, Ramatoulaye, Hawa, Aissatou
