Pdc 238 Basak Women’s Association Group's story

Ligaya is 35 years old married with two children.

She is the association president of Pdc 238 Basak Women’s Association Group who help her member to earn for a living. She is a member of NWTF for seven years, she earns a living in raising pigs business. She is a business minded person where she counts every peso that out and in her pocket. She also manages funds that NWTF trusted her to make a profit and also pay the obligation.

She knows her members in association better because of long years they are together in the centers. Each member run their own business like pig fattening, farming rice/sugarcane, general store, etc. that it’s doing great.

Ligaya is requesting a loan to buy additional sacks of feeds, vitamins and piglets to raise. She hopes that this project will continue and more members will benefit from and help the community by encouraging them to join the NWTF. And seeing each member are very happy counting their profit and improving their business.

She still continues to encourage other members of NWTF to join the group to improve their living.
