A loan of $1,000 helped purchase of merchandise.

Paulina's story

Paulina is a former client and she has been working with Emprender since 2004. She first worked in a solidarity group and after, she decided to work individually. She lives in her own home and she works selling clothing for children and young people. She sells the clothing in the mornings on Tumusla Street, a well-known market in the city of La Paz. She sells both wholesale and retail. Paulina is a very enterprising person with the desire to get ahead, and she is responsible with her payments. She will use the loan to invest in the purchase of wholesale corduroy pants and jeans for children. She is very grateful for Emprender and Kiva for the trust provided in granting the loan.
