A loan of $550 helped purchase of feed to improve his business of raising and selling animals.

Saúl's story

Saúl is a 55-year-old father of the family who lives together with his wife and two children in the village of Colera. It is a rural area of the district of Tambogrande, an agricultural district characterized for its work mainly with the cultivation of fruit plants. The fruits that they produce are processed to later be exported abroad. Tambogrande belongs to the province of Piura, located in the region of Piura, more than three hours from the city of Chiclayo.

For more than 20 years he has worked in the rearing and sale of younger animals. He raises fowl and sheep in various farmyards located close to his home. When these animals have achieved a good point of development, he sells them to the businessmen that frequent the area where he lives. This business provides him with stable income, which he uses toward family expenses. Additionally, he has a mototaxi (a motorcycle that has a cab attached to use in the transportation of cargo and passengers) and he also works in agriculture.

Saúl wants to improve the feeding of the animals that he raises to be able to obtain more income upon selling them. Continuing with his goal, he has requested a loan from Edpyme Alternativa for the first time of 1500 PEN, which he plans to invest in the purchase of feed.

Saúl is a very responsible and hardworking father. He has always given the best of him to be able to help his family succeed. His hope is to continue growing as a businessman to improve the quality of living of his family.
