Mamounata's story

Mamounata has 6 children, 5 of whom go to school. She has been a roadside restaurateur for 15 years in a neighborhood on the periphery of the capital.

This is her 5th loan cycle with the MFI YIKRI and she has paid back her loans without any problem. She is requesting a new loan to buy a metric ton of rice and 10 bags of peanuts, so she can meet her customers' demand.

She plans on using the profits to reinvest in her business and to save so she can meet the needs of her family. She encourages everybody to protect themselves agains COVID-19 and wishes a speedy recovery to those who are sick.
