This group of women has existed since June 2017. They live in the same area and maintain family relationships and strong ties of solidarity. Their primary business is farming. Fatou who is the representative for the group, is 48 years old and the mother of five children, three of whom are girls. She is active in farming. With this loan she plans to buy peanut seed and some bags of fertilizer for the cultivation, and after the harvest, she is going to resell her output at the local market for a good price, hoping to obtain better returns.
With the profits, she envisions building up her savings and plans to help her husband to meet the needs of the family (food, health, schooling of the children)
