A loan helped to purchase more grocery items including grains, peas, flour, sugar and tea to better serve her customers and generate more income.

Saima's story

Saima is a 26-year-old married woman. She has been successfully running a small general store with her husband (who can be seen in the picture) at the corner of her house. Her husband also assists her by purchasing goods from the market and dealing with customers at the shop.

Over time they have become popular in their community for providing good quality products and they make enough to meet the expenses of their three children. Saima requested a loan of 100,000 PKR to purchase more grocery items including grains, peas, flour, sugar and tea to better serve her customers and generate more income.

Saima is positive about her future earnings and will spend the part of her income on buying more items for her store.
