Pacajes Group's story

The Communal Association “Pacajes” consists of eight individuals, seven women and one man. They are in their second loan cycle. This group is part of the Cascada Community Center. The group president is Sra. Lizarda Ramirez.

Sra. Lizarda is 37 years old and the mother of four children. She currently has a business making embroideries for the police upon request. Lizarda joined Pro Mujer at the invitation of a friend. The loans have allowed her to increase her operating capital. She buys her supplies from a shop located on the outskirts of the city of El Alto.

Speaking in her role as President, Lizarda says what she likes most about Pro Mujer are the health services and the training classes.

The members of this Communal Association engage in different service and retail businesses offering public phone services, meat, clothing, fruit, taxi services, food, handicrafts, Internet service, photocopying services, soft drinks, and chewing gum.

In this group: Lizarda Rumaldina, Marcela, Victoria, Elsa Luisa, Maruja, Cristina, Eddy, Hilda
