Ngombol2 Group's story

The NGOMBOL2 solidarity group was formed on December 28, 2009. It is a member of the THIEO Banc Villageois. There are 15 women from the same village in the group.

Saly T., shown in the picture sitting second from the right and with her hand raised, is the leader of the solidarity group. She is a 58 year old, married woman with three children. She is also responsible for the care of one of her sister's children.

She sells seasonal fruit, mainly mangoes. She will buy 20 baskets of mangoes with her loan. She buys mangoes at least two times per week. Her goal is to financially participate in supporting the family's expenses.
