A loan helped to buy corn, beans, quesillo, and other raw materials to continue working at her business selling pupusas and food.

Vilma Luz's story

Vilma currently lives with her husband and daughter, who are 58 and 9 years old respectively. Vilma has only one financial dependant. She has no relatives living abroad. Vilma sells pupusas and food. She learned the trade with the help of one of her friends. She has had her business for 8 years and since then she has been working every day. Her main advantage is that the business is based at her home, so she does not have to pay rent for premises.

She is requesting a loan to have financial resources to help her strengthen her business. The funds borrowed will be used to buy maize, beans, quesillo, and other raw materials to continue working at her business selling pupusas and food. The purpose of the investment is to strengthen her business and increase her sales.

Her dream is to strengthen her business, increase her profits and improve her family’s quality of life.
