'Anavea's story

'Anavea is 50 years old. She is a mother to eight, and the wife of a farmer. Currently she runs a kiekie making and a plantation business. She makes kiekie (an ornamental girdle to wear around the waist) and sells them to local random customers. Her husband and her sons take care of their plantation, and in their plantation, they grow diverse types of crops such as taro, cassava and yam. 'Anavea spends her days in making kiekie, and on Saturdays she spends her time in marketing their crops. She just started her kiekie business but their was plantation started very long time ago, and it was her family's primary source of income. This loan will help 'Anavea and her husband export their crops overseas and also buy materials for her craft business.
