Noel's story

Noel N. is from the town of Sto. Niño. He is 42 years old. Noel is married and has 4 school-aged children. To make a living, Noel owns & operates a business venture in the agriculture sector raising crops. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes primarily from planting and harvesting rice for sale. Noel has been engaged in his business for over 20 years.

Noel joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve his living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Noel has successfully repaid a previous loan from CEVI. Noel is requesting a new loan of 15000 PHP which will be used to purchase fertilizer such as manure and pay for the laborers who help him prepare his land. This loan will be the tenth loan taken out by Noel from CEVI. He plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve his business.
