Adonai Plus Group's story

“Adonai Plus” is a group of 19 owners of small businesses chaired by Mbuyi. Its members are jointly liable for loans granted by Kiva to grow their businesses.

Mbuyi T. is 25 years old and single. He runs a cellphone booth and sells prepaid cards. He has been a micro entrepreneur since 2007. He is working hard because his ambition is to open a shop and become financially self-sufficient. The loan he’ll obtain next will be used to diversify his business, by buying phone accessories to resell with the aim of increasing the profits. Mbuyi makes a profit of about $42 per week. His business is located to the south-west of Kinshasa.
