A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during Covid-19.

Rosiah's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Rosiah. She is 55 years old and married with one son. Rosiah runs a business selling household equipment and her husband is a laborer. Her son is still in school. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of school from home that uses an online system. This makes it difficult for their child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 2,900,000 IDR (Indonesian rupiahs) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child's online education needs during Covid-19. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Rosiah is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her child and improves their living conditions and creates a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.

Note: The boy in the photo is Rosiah’s son.

This loan is special because:

It allows students of every economic background to pursue education.
