A loan of $500 helped buying beverages and restaurant supplies.

Clémentine Flavie's story

This is a 38-year-old woman who is married and the mother of an 18-year-old child in school. She has five people to support. Having dropped out of school in her last year of high school, she got started in the restaurant business in 2000. Her income amounts to 10,000 francs minimum per day. With this loan, she would like to bolster her business by buying carbonated soft drinks, fresh provisions, and restaurant goods, such as plates, salted fish, smoked fish, vegetables, cassava leaves, cassava, beans, rice, oil, and many other condiments. As a strategy, she strives to improve the quality of her cooking in order to attract more customers and also to save money each day after the sales are made.

In the future, she wants to open a big restaurant that is more modern, to have a house, and especially to support her daughter in studying medicine. Her restaurant is very popular, since many people go there, and she is very welcoming.
