Lucila's story

Lucila P. is from the town of Trento. She is 39 years old. Lucila is married and has 3 school-aged children. She is involved in farming. She and her husband maintain their rice farm. Lucila also manages their sari-sari store located at their house. She sells stuff like sugar, vinegar and many other products. Like other entrepreneurs, she wants to be successful and have a stable income to sustain her family. Lucila joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Lucila has successfully repaid a previous loan from CEVI. Lucila is requesting a new loan of 6000 PHP which will be used to purchase fertilizers, seeds and additional store inventory. This loan will be the second loan taken out by Lucila from CEVI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to pay the tuition fees of her children and improve their living conditions.
