Edelmira's story

Edelmira H. D. P. is 64 years old, a vigorous and hard-working woman. She has a stall in the central market of San Salvador, where she sells different products such as baskets, purses, handbags, plastic piggy banks, brooms, ropes, and other products. She lives in the Sonsonate district with her husband, who works as a merchant of various products, and she also lives with her daughter, who works for her personal expenses and also contributes a little to the household. Señora Edelmira has had this business in the same location for 43 years, which has maD. her very well known in the market by various people who have been her customers for a long time. She has very good personal references, since she is well known for being kind and hard-working.

Edelmira is applying for a loan to buy more products and in this way to stock her business with more brooms, plastic bottles for collecting water, wicker baskets for storing clothes, and other items that at the present time are rather scarce, like the last-mentioned item. Edelmira's greatest desire is to continue forward with her business and thus count on the earnings that she needs.
